Euro Hockey Club Challenge III Women at Sports Group of Viso

Viso field hockey hosts the European competition Club Challenge III Women, from 1 to 4 June.

Sports Group of Viso organises the competition, sponsored by the municipality. This sports event will gather teams from Lithuania, Croatia, Sweden, Poland and Denmark, in a total of 180 athletes.

All six teams will try to win the title of Challenge III Women's title, third European division, to move on to Challenge II, second European division, next season.

 AZS Politechnika Poznanska from Poland are favoured to win but the organisation is expecting a fierce competition.

Rocío Ybarra, captain of the Spanish team, with over 250 caps and three trips to the Olympic Games, and Erdoitza Goikoetxea, former international Spanish player with two trips to the Olympic Games who is currently a coach, will offer a special training for children, June 3 at 6.30 pm.
