The meeting-point will be Agora’s social media – Facebook and Instagram - due to the ongoing health measures, namely reduced seat availability.

This year, the motto is "Presentes(s) para o futuro”, [“Presents for the future”, free translation], an initiative that will invite to think about the role of children, its visions and perspectives, approaching issues like ecology, equality and human rights.

The celebrations start at 10 am, on 29 May, with an opening video; one hour later, time for sports with Yoga Kids and, over lunch time, Saphir Cristal gives you a taste of “Prato com Histórias”, disclosing secrets on nutrition, and the ingredients used to manufacture the most amazing delicacies.

In the afternoon, time to roll up one’s sleeves and to turn one’s imaginary friend in the environmental workshop “Natureza a Brincar”. At 3 pm, tale time with “Hora do Conto” with a reading and a staging of the book story “Malala’s magic pencil”, by Malala.

The Águas e Energia do Porto invites to know the secrets of the water cycle, with the “Experiências no Pavilhão da Água”, and the day closes with the Teatro e Marionetas de Mandrágora, with the tale “Caixa das histórias ensarilhadas”.

On Sunday, 30 May, the Centro de Educação Ambiental suggests building a Bug Hotel, at 2 pm; the Municipal Department of Libraries teaches handmade print at 3 pm, and the Teatro e Marionetas de Mandrágora is back again to present the ancient old tradition of “Shadow Theatre”, at 6 pm.
