The main events occur during February and typically involve a public celebration or parade combining some elements of a circus, masks, and a public street party.

There will be family activities (children aged 3 to 12), between 10 and 14 February.

Almeida Garrett Municipal Library will present the puppet show "Um ventinho malcheiroso" [Smelly Breeze]. In turn, the Porto Public Municipal Library features "A Gansa Tolinha" puppet theatre [Silly Geese], and the "Hora do Conto" [Story Time] will bring "Abraços e beijinhos" [Hugs and kisses].
