Billiards World Cup brings the best professional players to Porto in July

For the fourth year running, Dragão Caixa will host the three-cushion billiards World Cup. The competition will run from July 3 to 9. Entrance is free.

This event is jointly organised by World Billiards Union and Portuguese Billiards federation, it is part of the international tournament and happens following the world competitions held in Bursa (Turkey), Luxor (Egipt) and Ho Chi Minh (Vietnam), won respectively by Belgian Frédéric Caudron, Spanish Daniel Sánchez and the also Belgian citizen Eddie Merckx. 

This event happens prior to other three competitions included in the World Circuit that will take place in Cheongju (South Korea), La Baule (France) and Hurghada (Egipt).

This is the 12th time that FC Porto hosts such competition and this year's edition prize money is 52 thousand euros.
