Bandstand of Passeio Alegre is next in line for the celebration of "summer is in Porto"

From Thursday to Sunday, 7, 8, 9 and 10 September, the quest to rediscover the existing bandstands in the city of Porto continues, through topic workshops inspired in the places' history and identity.

The bandstand of Passeio Alegre will evoke the connection to the sea and to the fishing background of Foz in Porto. All participants will have an opportunity to embellish the space with colourful fishes and marine elements.

The initiative "Coretos em Festa" ("Celebrating Bandstands") is organised by PortoLazer, within the Municipal Programme "summer is in Porto".

Everyone can join in the celebration (after the age of three). The workshops will take place every afternoon from 7 to 10 September, between 4 pm and 6 pm.

Sunday, starting from 7 pm, is the opening moment and it will be celebrated with dance.
