Air Serbia is another European airline that will bet on new routes to Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport. The seasonal route starts on November 10 and will have two flights per week, on Mondays and Fridays, until March 2024.

The connection from Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, to Porto will be made by an Airbus A319 aircraft, with a capacity for 144 passengers. Flights will have an expected duration of 3h45. On Mondays, departures from Belgrade are scheduled for 1:50 pm, arriving in Porto at 4:35 pm, while in the opposite direction departures from the Invicta (Porto city) are at 5:35 pm, arriving in the Serbian capital at 10:00 pm.

On Fridays, flights depart from the Serbian capital at 7:50 am and arrive in Porto at 10:35 am, with departures from the Portuguese city scheduled for 11:30 am, arriving in Belgrade at 3:55 pm, always at local times.

Air Serbia flights will run until March next year and are now available for booking.

It is the first time that Belgrade and Porto will be linked to a regular non-stop air service. It will be Air Serbia's 23rd new route launched this year. In addition, it became the carrier's seventh destination in the Iberian Peninsula, after Lisbon, Madrid, Barcelona, Malaga, Palma de Mallorca and Valencia. Before the summer of 2019, the Serbian carrier did not serve a single destination in the region on a scheduled basis.
