In a Porto theatre, an actor plays the role of hopeless idealist Gregers Werle in a scene from Ibsen's "The Wild Duck".

Suddenly, he feels really unwell and experiences an anxiety attack.

Turning forty and depending on casual labour, the actor succumbs to the burden of living the lie that it is no work at all (in Portuguese "Não dá trabalho nenhum") to lead a life as an actor.

A simple analogy to understand the cliché that being an actor is no child's play and that this career provides little work these days.

"Não Dá Trabalho Nenhum" features April 7 and 8, at 9:30 pm and April 9, at 5 pm.
