"Linking Students" is the name of the new student body, established by FEP- Faculty of Economy of the University of Porto, with the main goal of supporting the full integration of foreign students into the normal academic and cultural milieu of the host institution and community.

Also, this new service will help the faculty's students to consider a study abroad experience, which will provide new insights on other countries, giving them the opportunity to know new customs and outlooks.

Together with the activities already programmed for this school year 2018-2019, this project kicked off alongside the "Buddy FEP" Programme.

"This new project will enable foreign students to feel more integrated during their studying abroad period, promoting the sharing of experiences and the cultural adaptation, and at the same time we wish to boost international mobility programmes with our students here at the faculty", says Miriam Silva, student at FEP and in-charge of the project.

The "Linking Students" is now in the process of finding volunteers to take part in the "Buddy FEP" programme, which runs from 17 till 24 September.

Valid candidates should study at FEP and can register here. International mobility students, studying at FEP and interested in having a buddy should register here.
