The 6th World Congress of Targeting Microbiota will take place in Porto, Portugal from 28 to 30 October.

The conference will present leading microbiota scientists from all over the world and it is the perfect opportunity to scientific networks and collaborations between experts.

The event on Microbiota is one of the most important issues of medicine in the past years and the possibility to relate basic research and clinical aspects is of vital importance, "as the next goal is to therapeutically manipulate microbiota to promote health and prevent chronic diseases", Prof. Peter C. Konturek, President of the International Society of Microbiota stated.

Among the Targeting Microbiota 2018 Speakers are Marcin Ufnal, of the Medical University of Warsaw, Poland, Ernst Holler, of the University Hospital Regensburg, Germany, Paul Forsythe, of the McMaster University, Canada, David Durgan, Baylor College of Medicine, USA and Sara Federici, of the Weizmann Institute of Science, Israel, among others.
