World experts on Respiratory Health will meet in Porto in 2018

Porto will play host to the 9th International Primary Care Respiratory Group (IPCRG) from 31 May to 2 June. This organisation gives itself the task of "raising the standards of respiratory care" of the global community.

The 1st Ibero-American Conference on Primary Health Care will also be held as part of this International Conference.

"A comprehensive scientific programme", with plenary sessions, debates, interactive sessions, workshops, networking opportunities, and experience sharing complete three working days at the Customs Congress Centre".

At national level, the IPCRG 2018 Conference is also associated with the Respiratory Diseases Study Group (GRESP) from the General Practitioners/Family Doctors Portuguese Association.

In an article for the Just News Health Portal, the Portuguese Group Coordinator, Rui Costa, marks that "organising this important world meeting in our country will help to understand the interest and quality of health care provision in the respiratory tract providing the opportunity for medicine students and other audiences to have access to reputable world speakers and experts in respiratory health care".

A number of sessions will run in parallel to the World conference, under the 1st Ibero-American Conference on Primary Health Care.

The presentations will be made in two languages, Portuguese and Spanish and it will be a networking opportunity for Health Professionals.
