Welcome to Porto, 2024!

The streets of Porto were once again the chosen place by thousands of people to welcome the new year. Among concerts, fireworks, hugs, wishes and renewed hopes, 2024 arrived the city partying.

The We Trust, on Avenida dos Aliados, and Carolina Deslandes, in Rossio, in Jardins do Palácio de Cristal, were the first guests to bring music to the last night of the year.

The last minutes of 2023, on both stages, were shown “Porto Amado”, the multimedia show by the collective OCUBO.

Seconds before midnight, Francisco Menezes turned the attention to Praça da República and took over the joint countdown to 2024 with eight-minute fireworks show that made the city look high up in the sky.

Late into the night, the new year began to the sound of Richie Campbell, Jimmy P and, for the more resilient ones, Ziko played music into the dawn.

Thanks to the work of Porto Ambiente, 2024 dawned with a completely clean city of party traces.
