From a predefined colour – violet – the walls of the Restoration Wall took on new shapes. In the space halfway between the upper part of the city and the waterfront next to the Douro River, the compositions of the seven winning artists of another call of the Urban Art Program of the City are already painted.

After having integrated the collective exhibition in the Baluarte, in the Quartel de Monte Pedral, Murna painted, in Rua da Restauração, the "glórias da manhã", the violet flowers that are seen to be born, right next door.

Flowers was also the choice of the duo Ra.so.al and Telma Pinto to tell a set of narratives, which can be (re)built by those who pass, with new characters, as a narrative that is always open.

On the other hand, ЗЭТВИНС created a metallic tangle, without beginning or end, an industrial reference to the power of iron. Next door, the sumo wrestler created by Theritch expresses the universality of the culture.

From Madeira to Venezuela and from here to Porto, Teresa Vieira painted a work about the luck and struggle of emigration in violet. Closer, coming from Viseu, Joana spread on the Restoration Wall the word search that, even today, she sees her grandmother playing.

The seven new drawings of the City's Urban Art Program are complete with the horse in the middle of the desert created by Tomás Facio.

Annually, this space at the back of Rua da Restauração serves as a showcase for the much that is done within urban art, with multiple techniques and different approaches.
