Bodybuilding gyms and Outdoor classes (limited capacity) comeback on 5th April. The UPFit online programme continues and offers new timetables.

Following the easing of the restrictions measures, as announced by the Portuguese Government, the University Sports Centre of the University of Porto (CDUP-UP) will reopen on 5th April, in a phased manner that is safe for the entire community. Therefore, Bodybuilding gyms at CDUP-Boa Hora and at FADEUP will run under reduced timetables.

Outdoor GAP, Workout, Circuit Training, Core and HIIT classes will be held from Monday to Thursday, at the University Stadium and at the Faculty of Sports, limited to four participants per session and subject to prior registration. Badminton training sessions also resume at the Luís Falcão Pavilion, twice a week.

Online classes under the UPFit programme will continue, with a new timetable, though.

According to the Plan defined by CDUP-UP, the number of classes and timetables for Bodybuilding gyms will be extended, on 19th April. These measures follow the bimonthly assessments by the DGS and the Portuguese Government.

All activities will be open in a phased manner, until full opening, including group classes and water activities, on 3rd May.

All preventive safety measures are in place to ensure that the Sports Centre of the University of Porto is able to welcome everyone in a safely manner. See here the Contingency Plan. Also, see here the Regulations on the Use of Facilities, under the current pandemic.
