Turkish Airlines resumes the Istanbul-Porto route on 29th March, with four weekly flights. The route had been suspended in the beginning of the pandemic.

This information, which is noted with satisfaction, was announced to Porto City Hall by Nuno Figueiredo, Regional Marketing Representative of Turkish Airlines in Portugal.

The first phase of the flight resumption comprises four weekly flights, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

“It was always so evident that Porto is an essential destination in the Portuguese market and one of the most important regarding 2021”, enhanced, a few days ago, Francisco Paixão, also a Regional Representative of the Turkish flagship company, cited by Publituris.

The operation is subject to regular review and may be altered, according to the level of the pandemic evolution.

Turkish Airlines, the airliner that "flies to more countries than any other airline in the world", according to the company's slogan, started operating at Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport in 2015 and set up offices in the Foz area, in Porto, in May 2018.
