The public chose Quinta de Soalheiro as the greatest of the Best of Wine Tourism 2024

After the general competition, which for 20 editions rewards excellence in wine tourism, it was the turn of the Best of Wine Tourism 2024 audience to pronounce and choose Quinta de Soalheiro, in Melgaço, as the best service in the world. The contest is promoted by the Great Wine Capitals International Network.

For this election, the regional winners of the Best of Wine Tourism 2024 awards from all member cities, globally recognized for their wines and wine regions that are part of the network, competed.

The Councillor for Tourism and Internationalization considers that "this award represents the international recognition of the quality of wine tourism services in our region". "For the election of the public favourite, the best in the sector compete, worldwide, in a universe of 77 wine tourism companies", says Catarina Santos Cunha. Therefore, she says, "this award is, in fact, a source of pride for Porto and for the region we represent in the Great Wine Capitals Network".

It is recalled that Quinta do Bomfim, with the Merenda na Vinha project, was awarded a global award in the awards that seek to inspire the wine industry to reach new heights of innovation and visitor experience.

The Porto region also received awards from Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo (Accommodation), Quinta do Bomfim (Architecture and Landscape), Caves Cockburn's (Art and Culture), The Wine School of WOW (Innovative Experiences), Six Senses Douro Valley (Sustainable Practices), Seixo Restaurant by Vasco Coelho Santos (Wine Restaurants) and Caves Graham's, in ex aequo with Quinta de Soalheiro (Wine Tourism Services).
