Teatro Municipal Campo Alegre presents film cycle with programming by Medeia Filmes

The Teatro Municipal do Porto, which comprises Rivoli and Campo Alegre theatres, features a multidisciplinary programme, ranging from dance, performance, theatre, puppet shows, new circus performances, music, cinema, literature, exhibitions, meetings and workshops.

All events are available to all types of audiences, in line with the strategy implemented by the Culture Department of Porto City Hall, as of September 2014, when the theatre was revived as a true place of artistic expression.

Teatro Municipal Campo Alegre hosts the film cycle with focus on the higher-value of the filmmaking industry as an important contribution to the Seventh Art. Medeia Filmes is in charge of the programming.

Medeia Filmes concentrates mainly on European cinema and independent American cinema, also known as "cinema of the world", showcasing the best selected and awarded films in the world's most prestigious film festivals.
