Save this date: May 18th at the Customs Building. The reason? The 4th Porto Tech Hub Conference, debating the topic "Future Jobs and Technologies".

Senior corporate executives from Microsoft, Amazon or IBM Research will gather at Porto Customs Building to talk about professional development in an era of rapid technological change.

The question whether the future of work will actually "work", in the sense that it will guarantee enough jobs to gainfully employ everyone is imperative. Understanding the challenges and what perspectives lay ahead is vital to building the road to success.

This in-depth debate will gather renowned national and international speakers, namely Antonio Alvarez, Amazon's Business Development Manager; Francisco Caldas, Global Executive Talent Acquisition in Europe for Microsoft, or Diego Moreda, Software Engineer for IBM Research and leader of the QISKit team.

The speakers' panel also includes partners from the academic world such as John Fitzgerald, Director of the Newcastle School of Informatics Engineering or José Nuno Oliveira, Professor and researcher at the University of Minho and member of INESC TEC (Systems and Computer Engineering Institute of Porto).
