Seaport of Leixões holds record of movement of goods in October

In the first ten months of this year, 16.4 million tons of freight passed through the seaport of Leixões. The port structure, shows a 8.1% increase vs. the same period last year.

The information is provided by the Jornal de Negócios, which states that the previous month activity contributed to this performance, "with the processing of 1.862 million tonnes, October was the best month ever in the port structure in Leixões". 

These data were presented by the Management of Douro, Leixões and Viana do Castelo Ports (APDL).

It should be spotlighted that the Leixões port structure registered an increase in passenger numbers and port calls last month.
