The highest foot traffic street in Portugal is Santa Catarina in Porto. This data is supplied by CBRE, the world's leading commercial property and real estate services adviser, in the context of the study "Street commerce in Lisboa and Porto".

Santa Catarina Street, in Porto, was already the busiest pedestrian street in the country in 2007. Ten years later, foot traffic rose by nearly 20%. This might be explained to a large extent by the existence of active trade in the very heart of the city, namely international brands fashion stores.

Second to Santa Catarina Street are Augusta and Garrett streets in Lisbon.
