Porto startup is two times awarded due to energy solutions at the Global Splash Innovation Stage

The winners of the Splash Innovation Stage, a startups competition under the EIP Water Conference, were announced this afternoon.
inanoE, headquartered in Porto, received two awards: the third prize of the competition and also the InnoEnergy, award given to the solution with the potential for better energy efficiency.
Within the framework of competition, 28 applications were validated, 16 startups reached the final stage that took place at the Customs Congress Centre today, 27 September.
Each finalist had a three minutes pitch before a jury of recognised professionals from Municipal Company Águas do Porto, UPTEC, Isle Utilities, Global Impact Partners and Launch Factory 88. The public vote had a share of 25% in the final result.
Below are the selected projects:
1st PrizeFlow Loop, Denmark
Project: a showering system with a specific water circuit that allows to recover wasted water. The water is micro-filtered and then reused.
Grant: 12 thousand euros
2nd Prize
Oxfiniti, United Kingdom
Project: waste-water treatment system 60 percent more energy-efficient
Grant: 6 thousand euros
3rd Prize
InanoEnergy, Portugal
Project: Environmental energy recovery through micro and Nano boilers and flexible and high effective piezoelectric, suited to the holding's needs.
Grant: 3 thousand euros

The finalist projects were presented by countries such as The Netherlands, Sweden, Spain, France, United States, Australia, Canada, just to name a few.
