Porto/Post/Doc runs from 27 de November to 3 December at Rivoli and Passos Manuel

The 4th edition of Porto/Post/Doc runs from 27 November to 3 December at Rivoli Theatre and Passos Manuel Cinema.

The festival offers the best in contemporary films, which translates in an eclectic mix of events, featuring 12 films that make up an international competition, ranging from documentary to drama works.

The festival's programme is broad and will integrate the following sections: "Transmission", devoted to cinema and music, including concerts, "Doc is the New Black", featuring films on the fashion industry, the "Cinefiesta", dedicated to the Spanish cinema, the "Cinema Falado", with the screening of Portuguese movies and a special section reserved for less known filmmakers and cinematography.

In 2017, the Porto/Post/Doc Festival will devote a special attention to the Archive and Memory, jointly designed with the Centre for Social Studies of the University of Coimbra with the fundamental goal of showcasing a film selection and further debate the role of archives as a memory of a colonial past.
