With every justification, Porto is again spotlighted on the international scene. This time round as one of the friendliest cities to visit, according to Condé Nast Traveler.

Porto was rated under the "friendliness" criterion in the Readers' Choice Awards survey.

The "charming" city of Porto, in the north of Portugal is described by Condé Nast Traveler's readers as "an old, romantic, poetic, intimate, bohemian, coast city that has a lot of soul and it will make you feel alive", a place where you'll be able to walk the many bridges and leave a love lock, or learn all about Port wine and enjoy the various vintages."

The city's natural wonders, the excellent museums and the picturesque downtown historic centre make Porto a must-go destination.

The city has well-deserved accolade of European Best Destination in 2012, 2014 and 2017.

Porto is a vibrant city that combines authenticity with riverfront city reminiscence, according to Condé Nast Traveler, "while being a less expensive destination than Venice with similar atmosphere".
