Porto is a city of real opportunities to entrepreneurs

For the second year running, Porto City Hall launches a call for proposals concerning activities in the trading area for the year 2018, in the fields of Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Technology.

"Any legal persons, national or foreign,with delegationor headoffice in Porto, already legally constituted, may apply for the Programme".
 

Applications can be submitted till 4 March. The selected proposals will be allocated the amount of 70 thousand euros, and each project will be granted up to 10 thousand euros.

This call is launched under the Scale Up Porto, and its fundamental goal is to "increase the impact of community actions" by the city's entrepreneurs and visionaries.

In 2017, the City Hall has sponsored eight projects. The initiative included activities for "makers", "hackathons", Conferences to debate the future, technology exhibits, workshops, training programmes, and 16 entrance free events have been organised. Also, two ecosystem guides have been finalised as well as a "vlog show".

This call was the meeting point of new talents and revealed hidden potential.

The momentum initiated last year has put Porto in the centre of innovation.
