Porto Best Of features Clã and Best Youth in Rivoli October 19th

The Porto Best Of cycle takes the stage to iconic artists of Porto who revive their debut and most influential work in light of present time. Each night, Porto Best Of shares the stage with new creations from the city.

Rivoli will play host to a concert by Clã and Best Youth at 9.30 pm, 19 October.

In September 1997, the band Clã released its second album "Kazoo", which includes a cover of "I'm Free", a song by The Rolling Stones, and 12 originals with song lyrics by Carlos Tê. Songs as "Problema de Expressão" and "GTI (Gentle, Tall & Intelligent)" that marked its age and gained public recognition.

Two decades past, in 2017, the band revisits its album "Kazoo" with a present outlook.

Best Youth band, formed by Ed Rocha Gonçalves and Catarina Salinas, an indie pop duo from Porto, has released its debut album "Winterlies", originally a self-publishing album that was later reedited by Optimus Discos. The duo released its first album "Highway Moon" in 2015.

Currently on tour, the band is preparing the international release of their debut album and concurrently preparing the next album.

Rivoli's stage offers concerts that connects generations and combines different genres and styles under the Porto Best Of programme.
