The city of Porto will play host to the exhibition "Douro: an alchemy between air, land and river", on 20 February, at 6 pm, at the Pasteleira Reservoir, soon to be the Museum of the History of the City. The exhibit is curated by anthropologist Eglantina Monteiro and artistic director Nuno Faria, and showcases Porto and the Douro Region in all its glory.

This very same exhibition was officially inaugurated on 4th October 2018 in Bordeaux, France, by Alain Juppé, Mayor of Bordeaux and former Prime Minister of France, and Mayor of Porto, Rui Moreira.

The display is a genuine showcase of Porto and the Douro Region heritage and landscape, which has been acknowledged by UNESCO as world cultural heritage.

The ancient link between mankind and nature, the tangible and intangible heritage, the unique microclimate, the language, the architecture and the river; these are all distinctive features to discover during the exhibition to which the City Hall invites everyone.
