The international conference organized by Porto Tech Hub is now in its seventh edition, transforming the city into a global technological centre. This Thursday, October 27, the Hard Club welcomes hundreds of professionals, and companies from around the world to debate the main trends and think about the future of technology.

Porto Tech Hub assumes the mission of “promoting the knowledge sharing among the technological community and allowing contact between big names of the sector and the professionals present”, among them Talia Nassi, from Amazon Web services, and Minko Gecheb and Guilherme Laforge, from Google.

The event, comprising several lectures on topics such as blockchain, web3, technological architecture, cybersecurity, or artificial intelligence, also features Kenneth Christiansen, from Intel Corporation, Stephen Fluin, from Chainlink Labs, and Bart Lannoeye, winner of the “Microsoft Most Valuable Professional” award for seven consecutive years.

The organization highlights that “there will also be present more than 30 technological companies located in Porto and partners in the initiative, such as the technology services consultant Emergn and Applied Blockchain, which develops blockchain technology”, in addition to organizations like Bosch or Fabamaq.

In addition to these moments of knowledge sharing, the conference also has workshops “that challenge participants to move from theory to practice”.

“It would not be possible for Porto to become the technological centre that currently is, without a dynamic ecosystem, capable of bringing to debate what is now being done in technology and what is expected for the future of the sector. It is precisely this dimension that Porto Tech Hub Conference will enhance, allowing companies and professionals to meet”, reinforces Porto Tech Hub’s vice president.

Samuel Santos believes that the event “appears as an opportunity for professionals to acquire new knowledge and skills, something even more important in the current job market”.
