"751 Dias - O Tempo não Consome a Eternidade", [751 Days - Time does not Wear Out Eternity - free translation], is the title of the book written to honour former councillor for Culture for Porto City Hall, Paulo Cunha e Silva. The book shares an overview of the several actions the former councillor for culture developed while in office.

The term of Paulo Cunha e Silva as responsible for culture in the city of Porto lasted exactly 751 days. And "he was happy doing so", Mayor of Porto, Rui Moreira once stated, "I know it because he told me that".

The book will be released at the Almeida Garrett Municipal Library auditorium, at 5 pm on 9th June. This date is symbolic as Paulo Cunha e Silva would reach 56 years of age that very day. The councillor for culture passed away on November 11th 2015.

The Paulo Cunha e Silva Art Prize (PCS Art Prize) was created to honour his contribute to culture during his entire life. The Almeida Garrett Municipal Library hosts the exhibition with the selected work by the finalists to the PCS Art Prize on contemporary art, curated by Guilherme Blanc and João Laia.

The finalists are Christine Sun Kim, Jonathas de Andrade, June Crespo, Mariana Caló/Francisco Queimadela, Naufus Ramírez Figueroa, and Olga Balema.

The jury of the first edition of the Paulo Cunha e Silva Art Prize - João Laia, Vicente Todolí, Meg Stuart and Julião Sarmento - will announce the name of the winner during the exhibition.

The exhibit will be on show till August 19th at the Municipal Gallery Almeida Garrett.
