The inauguration of the third edition of the Porto Design Biennale, scheduled for last week and postponed due to the weather, was rescheduled for this Tuesday. There are more than fifty exhibitions, talks and free installations, spread throughout Porto and Matosinhos, and will run until December 3.

With exhibitions, workshops and conferences, the biennial intends this third edition to consolidate the event as a "space of challenge and provocation". It is curated by Fernando Brízio and will run until December 3, assuming the commitment of Porto and Matosinhos of "valorization of the territory" and development of intercity cultural dynamics.

With the central theme "Being Water: How we flow and shape ourselves collectively", Porto Design Biennale has exhibitions by Fernando Brízio, Miguel Vieira Baptista, Margarida Mendes, Joana Pestana, Mariana Pestana, Studio Makkink & Bey and Ivo Poças Martins, in spaces such as the Museu do Porto, the Palácio dos Correios, the Casa do Design de Matosinhos, the Galeria de Biodiversidade or the noble hall of the Municipality of Matosinhos.

Full information on the schedule can be found on the Porto Design Biennale website.
