North Music Festival 2018 happens in Porto

The dates for the second edition of North Music Festival 2018 have already been set.

The event is scheduled to happen 25 and 26 May, at the Customs Building in Porto.

The programme aims to suit all tastes and age groups. North Music presents itself as an urban event, mainstream and covering several genres. The festival's poster includes renowned artists of national and international reputation.

The full poster will be announced shortly.

In addition to concerts, there will be dining experiences, wine tastings, film screenings and documentaries, as well as a dance and world music area, and the presence of several DJ's.

According to Jorge Veloso, Director of Vibes & Beats and Project mentor, "we wish that North Music Festival is an unforgettable experience, in a venue that does not require detailed presentation", against the background of river Douro and the Historical Centre.

Moving this festival from Guimarães to Porto was, in the words of Jorge Veloso, "an obvious choice", because "besides being a culturally effervescent city, Porto and the entire North Region are the main touristic destinations in Europe".
