New Tourist Office at the gates in the Gardens of Palácio de Cristal

There is a new Tourist Office in the entrance of the Gardens of Palácio de Cristal. Besides providing free tourist and cultural information on Porto, it also supports the events that will be organised in the facilities. The Tourist Office also hosts a store that sells Porto. merchandising products.

The Tourist Office operating hours, aka iPoint, is organised and set in accordance with the events that are part of the Super Bock Arena - Pavilhão Rosa Mota programme agenda, as well as any initiative that is held in the Gardens of the Palácio de Cristal and in the Municipal Library Almeida Garrett. As such, the Tourist Office ensures the proper functioning of both touristic and cultural events, it is the place where tourists, residents or event ticket holders pick up promotional material, purchase the city’s official merchandising, adhere to the Porto.Card, or simply discover what’s on in Porto, tourism related.

This was a former kiosk at the entrance of the Palácio de Cristal, which was rehabilitated in 2019, and now features its new function: a Tourist Office that was inaugurated last Friday, on 14 May, the day of the concert by the band Xutos e Pontapés, which took place inside Super Bock Arena - Pavilhão Rosa Mota.

The day of the inauguration was a successful opening day, as it not only coincided with the concert by Xutos e Pontapés, but it also received the visit by the councillor for Economy, Tourism and Trade, Ricardo Valente.

The following day, 15 May, the iPoint also opened doors to support the holding of the concert by David Carreira.
