PING!, the educational program of the Municipal Gallery of Porto, continues to present walks through the gardens and visits to artists' workshops. Registration is now open for the next two sessions.

The first proposal is scheduled for the last Saturday of October, the 28th, at 4 p.m. Claire Sivier, British-Jamaican artist and researcher, offers us a tour of the Palácio de Cristal Gardens, starting on a trip to the past of the place.

After the First Portuguese Colonial Exhibition of 1934, what is going on inside the garden almost 90 years later? What is its impact on the present? These are some of the questions to reflect, from the collective history, personal perspectives, and possible relationships with that space.

It follows on October 31, Tuesday, from 8:30 pm, the Night Exodus Route. In the middle of Halloween night, the proposal is to go through different spaces and ateliers in the neighbourhoods of Bonfim, in the eastern zone and Fontaínhas, from a night route designed by artist and designer Irina Pereira.

Very different from an opening experience in an art space or gallery, this route will allow you to enter the workplaces of some artists, seeing and hearing in the first person the practices, ideas, and interests of each one of them.

With free participation, the routes have a limited capacity. Registrations can be made through the email galeriamunicipal@agoraporto.pt. More information is available on the website of Galeria Municipal do Porto.
