Municipal Executive assembles today via video conference

This is the first time that this has happened and it will be so in the coming future. The Municipal Executive assembles this morning via videoconference, to take decisions regarding city life and also to debate the crisis situation, caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Despite the fact that the crisis and the Law entitle the City Hall to suspend the meetings by the municipal bodies, Porto Municipal Executive assembles today, 23rd March in a formal meeting (teleworking), with all the conditions to determine, as normally done.

It is worth recalling that Mayor of Porto, Rui Moreira and councillors head of councils in the Municipality of Porto are preparing a package of measures for the rehabilitation of the city's social and industrial fabric of the city of Porto that will be additional, and not overlap the measures determined by the Council of Ministers for the country.
