Milo Rau presents "Five Easy Pieces" 22 and 23 September, starting at 7 pm, in Campo Alegre Auditorium, based on the criminal tragedy of Belgian paedophile Marc Dutroux.

It has been 20 years now that the international community was shocked by the criminal actions of paedophile and child murderer Marc Dutroux. The horror and the repulsiveness still linger.

The possibility to come to terms with guilt -catharsis - will be debated on stage at Campo Alegre by Swiss dramatist Milo Rau, known by his unmatched political theatre.

Milo Rau is the founder of the International Institute of Political Murder (IIPM), whose performances are based on real events.

With "Five Easy Pieces", by invitation of Belgian production company CAMPO, Rau gathers on stage children between 8 and 13 years old, who tell the story of Marc Dutroux's case and lead the spectator to a deeper reflexion on humanity and the world we live in. What is freedom, longing, cruelty? How do we learn to live? And die?

These are some of the questions that will disturb the listeners in the auditorium.

The show is recommended for age 16 and older.
