Mayor of Porto, Rui Moreira went shopping at Bolhão Temporary Market

Mayor Rui Moreira decided to take a break from his institutional agenda and went shopping at Bolhão Temporary Market, located at La Vie Shopping Centre.

Two weeks after the Temporary Market opened and the rebuilding of the Bolhão Market started, the average daily influx of customers easily exceeds the old market one.

Quite informally, Mayor Rui Moreira strolled through the market stalls, chatted with the traders and bought mushrooms, padrón peppers, olives and nectarines.

Some merchants offered the Mayor flowers.

Rui Moreira was pleased. The new location "was not found wanting" and there are excellent technical conditions to operate. Traders are happy, Customers are satisfied. The works regarding the rebuilding of the old market's infrastructure are within schedule.

The future lies ahead! And it will be bright!
