Rivoli Grand Auditorium MO will play host to Performance "Dança Doente" by Brazilian choreographer, Marcelo Evelin.

The reputed dance and company Demolition Incorporada feature a performance that contextualizes Hijikata Tatsumi's dance, butoh's master, a dance of Japanese origin and presented as a reaction to western contemporary dance of the time together with Brazilian rhythms.

This performance is presented 6 and 7 October, starting at 7 pm at Rivoli. A savage, carnal and excessive performance that promises the exploration of the body.

"A body that is transported to outside of itself, like a virus, contagious, as a premonition of death and, concurrently, the affirmation of life to the full", according to Marcelo Evelin.

There are other free of charge activities: a talk with choreographer, Joana von Mayer Trindade on Friday, and Aquecimento Paralelo with Joclécio Azevedo, Saturday afternoon, just moments before the show.
