How to shape a fun and enjoyable weekend in Porto

The free outdoor cinema cycle is back this summer, but it won't travel the city, due to the pandemic. Instead, it is set at the Monte Aventino's court and benches to ensure all safety measures are in place.

This weekend, still on the not-to miss activities in Porto, the "Cinema Fora de Sítio" event is sheer fun this summer season, as free cinema outdoor screenings are the best outings for family and friends.

The trill continues on 21st and 22nd August, with "Sonic- The Movie" and "My Spy", respectively, a sure bet for children and grown-ups alike. Sessions start at 10pm.

In accordance to the health measures issued by the DGS, the space will have a maximum occupancy of 380 seats, scattered by the courts and benches. Seats are occupied according to the first-come, first-served rule, and doors open one hour prior to the movie screening.

The cycle "Cinema Fora do Sítio" is jointly organised by Porto City Hall and the INATEL Foundation, via the municipal company Ágora - Cultura e Desporto do Porto.
