HIV/AIDS screening services scheduling for the month of June in Porto

The CAD HIV/AIDS mobile unit service scheduling is already available for his month of June. Sessions are free, organised on a first-come, first served basis and all data is confidential.

The HIV/AIDS, aka counselling and early detection of HIV/AIDs in Porto (CAD HIV/SIDA) operates working days both on a mobile unit and on a stationary unit. There is no need for prior registration. Sessions are free.

The HIV/AIDS Mobile Unit screening actions are organised by the Counselling Centre for the earlier HIV/AIDS diagnosis, and it features monthly free planning regarding HIV/AIDS screening actions, in various locations in Porto. The service scheduling for June is already available. Please consult the timetable attached below.

In turn, the stationary unit requires previous appointment, via the phone numbers 220 412 250, 961 314 380, or via the email cadporto@arsnorte.min-saude.pt. The operating hours at the stationary unit are from Monday to Friday, between 10 am and 5 pm. This service is temporarily located at the Rua da Constituição, n. 199.

The CAD VIH/SIDA Porto is held under the action plan of the Municipality of Porto themed "Porto, Cidade Sem Sida" ["Porto, City without Aids", free translation], and the outline goal is the provision of suitable answers to local needs, in order to meet the strategy 90-90-90 goals set by the Municipality in May 2019. This means that 90% of the people living with AIDS know that they are infected, 90% of the people who are infected receive treatment and 90% of the people being treated have the infection under control.
