Congratulations to the Puppet Museum of Porto! Today, the Puppet Museum celebrates its 8th anniversary and “even though doors cannot be open to invite everyone in, know that we will be waiting to celebrate together, as puppets do not die”, as stated on the Puppet Museum Facebook page.

The Puppet Museum of Porto, already a reference institution in the city of Porto, inaugurated on 3rd February 2013 and was founded by João Paulo Seara Cardoso, also Artistic Director of the Puppet Theatre of Porto. The museum was located in Rua das Flores, for three years, and on 29th September 2016, it relocated to Rua de Belomonte, next to the company’s headquarters.

As soon as the pandemic preventive measures are lifted, remember there is an exhibition that revisits some of the most iconic work by the theatre that awaits your visit.
