Parkside Interactive's expansion plans include the debut in the Portuguese market, with the opening of a development centre in Porto and the recruitment of 50 professionals over the next two years.

The Austrian company leader in custom software development and UX design (user experience) chose Invicta to start the activity in Portugal for the "growing recognition of the city as a global technological centre of excellence, as well as the favourable conditions it offers, such as stability and security", can be read in a statement.

“Faced with the growth of Parkside, we saw in Portugal, and particularly in Porto, the ideal place to move forward with our purpose of developing an increasingly personalized technological solution, which allows us to support our customers daily. It is with this in mind that in Porto we want to reinforce the qualified technological talent in our teams, creating job opportunities", says the director of Parkside Interactive Portugal, Paulo Moura, in statements reproduced by the company's press office.

The development centre that Parkside Interactive intends to install in Porto will bring, in the first two years, 50 vacancies for professionals specialized in Information Technology, namely engineers.

“Since our foundation, we have identified ourselves as a place where professionals can develop, through a collaborative culture and based on strategies that have in mind their needs, flexibility, as well as the balance between professional and personal life, namely through maternity support. It is exactly these values that we now want to take to the community of Porto, still integrating the culture of the city in our way of working", notes the same responsible.

Founded in 2007, Parkside Interactive will integrate into the economic ecosystem of Porto through an association with Porto Tech Hub, an entity that promotes and develops the city as a global technological centre, and which already brings together more than 30 national and international companies located in the region.
