Folklore dancing enlivens the city Saturday afternoon

As is tradition during the celebrations of the São João, there will be folklore dancing in Porto, scheduled to start at 3 pm.

The folklore groups will departure from several sites in the city, and nine folkdance groups will enliven the city with cheerful music and good vibes. The groups will parade through the city main streets and avenues in downtown Porto, and everyone's invited to celebrate the patron saint of the city, São João.

Rendez-vous will take place at General Humberto Delgado Square, in front of the Town Hall, at 5 pm, where each group will parade and perform at Avenida dos Aliados.

The folkdance groups are Rancho Folclórico de Ramalde, Grupo de Folclore de Lordelo do Ouro, Rancho Típico do Ilhéu, Grupo de Folclore da Escola Secundária Infante D. Henrique, Grupo Etnográfico do Orfeão do Porto, Rancho Folclórico de Paranhos, Rancho Folclórico do Porto, Academia de Danças e Cantares do Norte de Portugal, and Rancho Folclórico de Campanhã.
