Painting exhibition "sussurro e effacement", made of paintings by Rosário Forjaz and Jean-Jacques Maho, at Galeria Porto Oriental, ends Saturday with a jazz performance.

Starting at 6 pm, the finissage will see a concert by João Leite (trumpet and voice), Daniel Pinto (guitar) and Pedro Silva (double bass), to the sound of "There will never be another Chet".

The exhibit comprises the work of plastic artist Rosário Forjaz, of Mozambican origin living in Porto and Jean-Jacques Maho, Painter and engraver from Lille (France) "sussurro e effacement" [whispering and obliteration].

This exhibit is the result of two distinct artistic visions that find a common path in sensibility, inner landscape, imagined portraits, the play of transparency and light, a work of art that encompasses the whispering of a mark and the subject's obliteration.

This exhibit is on show until Saturday, between 3.00 pm and 7.00 pm at Galeria Porto Oriental.
