Ensemble Vocal Pro Música performs at Quinta de Bonjóia

The choir Ensemble Vocal Pro Música, conducted by José Manuel Pinheiro, performs Sunday, 24 September, in Quinta de Bonjóia. 

The recital starts at 5 pm, and it is held under the "Music Cycles" promoted by Porto City Hall and the Music programme Silva Monteiro.

The group's repertoire ranges from Claudio Monteverdi, John Rutter, Espiritual Negro, Beatles, Christopher Tin, Leigh Harline and Newd Washington, Harold Arlen, Ray Evans, Rafael Hernandez, Luis Bonfa and Tom Jobim.

The choir consists of 80 members, the Ensemble Vocal Pro Música is now 25 years old.  It was founded by Maestro José Manuel Pinheiro and some students, it has a wide portfolio, and gives concerts throughout the country. It has also performed jointly with the Orchestra of the North and the Orchestra of Guimarães.

Free admission, but subject to room capacity.
