End date of "Quintas de Leitura" 2017 event is on 21 December, at Campo Alegre auditorium, starting at 10 pm with Portuguese writer Afonso Cruz

The Portuguese writer Afonso Cruz is the invited guest of the last "Quintas de Leitura" event for the year 2017. The initiative takes place at auditorium Campo Alegre and starts at 10 pm.

Afonso Cruz explains that this last evening of "Quintas de Leitura" 2017 themed "Gostava que coxeasses por mim", will present "highlights of novels, illustrated books and texts of the Encyclopedia of Universal Story, serving as links to other stories, thoughts and accounts, which bashfully hide in the blank slips of book sheets and often go unnoticed".

The reading moments of the evening will be carried out by Ana Celeste Ferreira, accompanied by the pianist Ricardo Caló, Sandra Salomé and reputed radio broadcaster Fernando Alves. Dancer Alexandre Duarte will partner with this event by presenting an extraordinary act of contemporary circus.

The evening ends with the "Pandora's Box" trio, featuring musicians Rui Filipe (piano), Cindy Gonçalves (violin) and Sandra Martins (cello and clarinet), who will present their latest album titled "Rota das Afinidades". The band has already given performances of this work in places such as India, China and New York.
