Dance performance to conquer the fear of the dark

"Nocturno" (Nocturnal in English) is a dance performance about the fear and fascination of the dark, featured by Theatre Campo Alegre, Saturday April 22, at 3 pm and at 5 pm.

With "Nocturno", children can explore the dark, which for children is the biggest mystery in life.

The shadows, the dark, the silence, the street noises and the movements in the house provide fanciful thoughts, many fears, a kind of allure.

Based on a work with schools in various stages of creation, "Nocturno" is inspired by many possible nights - in the village and in the city, in the open or in improbable shelters. Different sounds and experiences, with or without stars, but always under the same dark sky.

Pianist, composer and performer Joana Gama and choreographer Victor Hugo Pontes, have created and composed this dance performance jointly with Nome Próprio, São Luiz Municipal Theatre, Porto Alegre Municipal Theater, Rivoli and CCB / Fábrica das Artes.
