Creative initiatives to enliven traditional trade

The second edition of "Lojas na Rua" (Outdoor Trade Spot) is a municipal initiative aimed at enliven the city trade on 14 October. This event happens concurrently in Mouzinho da Silveira Street, Ferreira Borges Street and Largo de S. Domingos. 

Interested traders are invited to register between 3 and 15 September.

This initiative is meant to boost the traditional trade, by engaging the public's interest and revitalizing Porto historic tradition as a trading town.

This action is sponsored by Porto City Hall and will be conducted by window dressing specialised professionals while respecting the identity of each business and promoting its products and services.

The scheduled actions will be made public in due time.

The first edition of this initiative, held last June also included street entertainment with folk groups and music played on traditional Brazilian percussion, known as batucada.
