The "Efficient Resource Management in the Framework of the Circular Economy" is the theme of the conference to be held on 6 November at the EDP's Auditorium.

This event, organised under the thematic conferences cycle of the Green Project Awards, is a participation free event but prior registration is required.

The event takes place between 9 am and 1 pm, and gathers both national and foreign experts, who will share their knowledge on innovative concepts and examples of good practice towards common goals, namely to preserve, optimise and ensure key resources in the future.

Attila Turos, leader of the World Economic Forum, and Beatriz Luz, the person responsible for Exchange 4 Change Brazil, are confirmed speakers.

The growing consciousness of the environment safety by economic agents and the consequent decrease in the environmental costs, the challenges of the shift to a circular economy to create less waste and making better use of funding as well as the optimisation of the value of goods produced are some of the issues under discussion.

The new business models and the active role of circular economy ?pioneers will contribute to environment preservation and increased social being, based on sustainable value creation.

This initiative is sponsored by the Green Project Awards, jointly with COTEC Portugal and Porto City Hall.
