Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Porto from 5 to 8 September

Porto will host the 18th EPIA - international conference on Artificial Intelligence from 5 to 8 September.

Invited speakers include leading researchers such as Philipp Slusallek, Scientific Director at the German Research Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI), Francesco Bonchi, Research Leader at the ISI Foundation, Turin, Italy, where he leads the "Algorithmic Data Analytics" group and Simon M. Lucas, Professor of Computer Science in the School of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering at the University of Essex (UK).

Promoting research, networking and enhancing the most significant advances in the area of AI are the main objectives of this event, which will present a scientific program composed of a group of thematic tracks.

The conference will also include a doctoral symposium, a poster session, AI competitions and a special session dedicated to student projects and industrial case studies.

This event will take place in the Faculty of Engineering of Porto and it is organised by APPIA - Portuguese Association for Artificial Intelligence.
