Partygoers can enjoy this time of year outdoors and do the Christmas shopping while parading through town.

Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without a visit to the traditional markets and they are back until 23 December. Tick off your Christmas shopping list at Porto's Christmas markets and festive fairs, and find unique gifts, such as festive crafts, handmade gifts, and original art pieces.

Expect nothing but fun and joy. Access is free.

Traditional arts and crafts at Artesanatus Market

Artesanatus Market gathers the best in traditional and contemporary art and craft at Largo do Amor de Perdição (next to Cordoaria Garden).

As is the tradition, Artesanatus guarantees a product's authenticity, quality and originality, relying solely on the participation of legally recognized artisan or handicraft-type production units.

The market runs from Sunday to Thursday, between 10 am and 8 pm, and from Friday to Saturday, from 10 am to midnight.

Arts & Crafts market enlivens the district of Campanhã

For the fourth year running, the Arts & Crafts is again represented in the city of Porto in the holiday season. The market is organised by the Association of Craftsmen of Vila do Conde, with the support of Portugal's infrastructure.

The market is open for visitors at the Largo da Estação de Campanhã, where everyone can look for presents ranging from ceramics, textile, linen cloths, leather, wood and cork toys and utensils, and puppets.

The market is open from Sunday to Thursday, from 10 am to 8 pm and from Friday to Saturday from 10 am to 9 pm.
