The Christmas circus at Coliseu Porto Ageas offers a streaming session on 1st January

A modern and unique take at the circus magic in is town, hosted by Coliseu Porto Ageas, with the added romance of-one-of-a-kind joyful experience. The good news is that the circus magic will enter everyone’s home via an exclusive streaming session, on 1st January, at 5pm.

How precious to see a world of magic from home, thanks to this option offered by the Coliseu Porto Ageas. Access to the streaming session costs 9 euros and enables the whole family to ‘attend’ the show.

“Welcome 2021 the best way possible, without exiting home, wherever you are in the world”, this is the invitation launched to everyone that cannot attend the circus in person, owing to the ongoing pandemic constraints, namely the limited seat availability and the restrictions to circulation between municipalities.

This initiative, unique in almost 80 years of this historic tradition of the Coliseu Porto Ageas, will be streamed live on first day of 2021, via the Ticketline Live Stage platform.

There are 20 artists, who bring to Porto absolute premieres of aerobatics, illusionism, trapeze, clown, Chinese pole and tight rope acts, as well as Circus Physics, parkour and juggling. One of the headliners is Rui Paixão, the first Portuguese artist to take part in the Cirque du Soleil and who will be the ringmaster for the 2020 Xmas Circus
