Cream of the crop chef, author and TV personality, Anthony Bourdain is in Porto to film an episode of "Parts Unknown" for CNN.

These past two days, Bourdain visited Porto and sampled classic Porto cuisine, including tripe and lamprey at A Cozinha do Martinho, a traditional Portuguese food restaurant where he filmed some hours of footage for the episode that should air till the end of the year.

Big cheese "Tony" Bourdain became world famous after the release of his 2000 book "Kitchen Confidential: Adventures in the Culinary Underbelly".

His first food and world-travel television show was "A Cook's Tour" from 2002 through 2003. In 2005 he hosted "Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations" from 2005 to 2012, a culinary and cultural adventure program, and "The Layover", which aired from 2011 to 2013 for the Travel Channel. In 2013, he went on to host "Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown" for CNN.

According to Travelandtaste website (www.travelandtaste.pt), Bourdain took the opportunity to taste some river fish delicacies in Lordelo do Ouro.

"Culinary bad boy", as some say, had already visited the city of Porto back in 2002  to film an episode of "A Cook's Tour" and is visiting Porto for the second time to uncover a little more of Porto eating style.
